Poly Snow Fence Installation Steps
- Plan the fence line about 65 feet upwind from the area you want to keep clear.
- Set posts in place, burying them about one-third of their height and spacing them no more than 8 feet apart.
- Attach the fence to the upwind side of the posts so wind presses the mesh against the support structure.
- Keep the fence slightly above ground level and stretch it taut during installation.
- Secure the mesh with ties, nails, or staples, and add cable reinforcement if extra stability is needed.
- Overlap adjoining sections by at least 6 feet when connecting multiple rolls.
